On Friday, February 16, 2018, the Shaolin Temple Cultural Center of Greece - Shaolin Temple Greece 少林寺 少林寺 and the School of Traditional Shaolin & Taitsi in Peristeri, organized, as every year, the Chinese New Year of 2018! The year of the "Earth Dog"!

The event began with an Opening Ceremony with the Recitation of the Sutra of the Heart with the 34th generation Shaolin monk, Xi Yang Xiang 释 延 向 法师, leading the participants.
Immediately after the ceremony, Master Xi Yang Xiang invited everyone in attendance to a short workshop on Traditional Shaolin. There were many daredevils who took part in a short introduction of the ensemble Lian Juan Chuan, led by the student Moschos Alexandros.

This was followed by a dynamic presentation with traditional ensembles of Shaolin Kung Fu and Tai Chi by students of all ages, who caught the eye of the audience with warm applause. A small part of the presentation was also attended by students of Master Xi Yiang Xiang from the Chinese School of Athens 雅典 中国 学校.

After the presentation, many did not hesitate to try Chinese traditional massage by the student of our Center, Aggeli Viki.

There was also a Lottery at the Beginning of the Festival and then a raffle with prizes, where the winner of our first prize is Kougios Nikolaos. As is customary in Chinese New Year, red envelopes, Yasui qian ian 岁 θηκαν, were given to children wishing them a safe, happy and peaceful New Year.

Vegetarian Chinese cuisine was there for everyone in attendance.
